As we move though November the Christmas season is quickly approaching. Here at Back to Earth we love helping you make the holidays less hectic and more about family and being present. Continuing on our Olive Oil theme we thought we would share some things you may enjoy that are made with this liquid gold. All of our bar soaps at Back To Earth contain olive oil to gently clean while keeping your skin soft and supple.

Did you know we have fifteen soap recipes that we create beautiful bars from? There is something for everyone, from a simple unscented aloe bar to a divine Heavenly Hemp and Lemongrass bar that will fill your shower with a rich, natural fragrance. Read about all the varieties and their benefits here. Order online or visit our Lavington shop or your local retailer to enjoy the luscious scents. They are an affordable and decadent gift that everyone on your list would enjoy in their stocking.

Not only is olive oil good for your skin on the outside you can nourish your skin and hair from the inside by eating high quality olive oil products. It is worthwhile to learn about the process of extracting olive oil and to invest in the best you can find. Here in the Okanagan we like to purchase our olive oil for cooking and baking from the lovely team at Olive Us www.oliveusoils.com. They have an amazing array of the finest quality oils and vinegars to make your kitchen a healthy and delicious place to be.

Holiday cookie exchanges and entertaining are upon us, try this lovely cookie recipe they shared with us and know that it is about as healthy as a holiday cookie can get as it is made with nourishing olive oil.
