In the spirit of giving, our Founder, Kiley Routley, headed out to the Upper Room Mission in Vernon, BC this week to practice what we've been preaching about kindness. Kiley donated several cases of our super nutritious Weeds & Seeds Berry Blend to help support their upcoming Coldest Night of the Yearcampaign happening Saturday February 24th.
"Weeds & Seeds is the perfect nutrient dense, high fiber Superfood. It contains the daily requirements of vitamins, minerals, complex carbohydrates, lean protein, and healthy fats, all within 2 Tablespoons. Weeds & Seeds will puff up to 12 times its size once consumed, and also has a high protein content that keeps one full for longer", says Kiley Routley, Founder Back to Earth™
"We are happy to help whenever we can", says Kiley.Weeds & Seeds has played a HUGE part in helping people who have experienced the crisis of food shortages. "We are proud to have sent over 2000 pounds of Weeds and Seeds overseas, over the years, to communities in need as well as donating thousands of pounds to our local food banks."
There is 0% sugars per serving so it is also ideal for people with diabetes. Add Weeds & Seeds to oatmeal, granola, baking, yogurt, salads, smoothies, cottage cheese, top salmon fillets, add to meatloaf, bake with it, or simply eat it RAW.
And to keep the moment of sharing alive, here is another tried, tested, and true Back to Earth recipe from our kitchen to yours!
