Supporting dream

The truth about natural products, is that they need a broad-spectrum preservative. Over the past year we have been living the crazy truth of how serious a virus can be. Preventing the growth of bad bacteria, viruses and mold in natural products is also incredibly important. Although we have been offering a re-fill program at our storefront in Lavington for the past 8 years, over the past year have seen a 66% increase of our re-fill business. Large bulk buckets of products are being opened and closed numerous times a day to refill one's own bottles and jars that are, at times, far from sanitary.

We go through strict stability and preservative testing with our products using the most natural preservatives available. In no way do we want to be responsible for not having a stable product, therefore we have re-formulated some of our products to ensure safety. Many microbial growths can't be spotted by the naked eye.... you can help by making sure whatever bottle you are re-filling is washed well and allowed to dry thoroughly. Then make sure a good plant-based preservative is in the ingredients list of the products you are re-filling.

If you really want the most natural products possible, DIY products recipes are awesome, just remember to keep the products in the fridge and use it up within 5 days!
